I can side with your point of view. The only other option is for customers to send me their crank and I modify it to convert it to a 100% high speed oil system. It will be a little pricey on the machining however much cheaper than a said stroker kit.
But you also have to look at it this way. There are some members here that consider $6000 to be quite affordable for a complete rotating assembly already balanced. All you have to do is hone/deck/check housing bores and oil clearances and your done. Nothing else to it....but not every part is made for every individual. There are many out there that want to make it happen on a different type of build...which is doable..no harm no foul.
